Think of the last person you hugged. What would you do if they vanished completely?

Honestly, I can’t remember.  I think maybe Tasha. So we’ll talk about Tasha. If Tasha vanished completely I would at first be a little confused, but then ration that she’s probably at Bio review or perhaps if it’s later at night, she’s locked herself in her room to finish writing her history paper.  After about 24 hours without seeing her, I’d start panicking and crying thinking that she’s missing.  I’d search for her, and call the police.  They’d never find her though (cause she completely vanished) so I would spend the rest of my life wondering why anyone would abduct Tasha.  She’s far to sweet to be abducted.  Plus, the world needs her.  She has the solution for climate change! So, then I’d be angry because someone essentially stole the answers to all of our problems.  Then I’d get to thinking that her abduction was actually a plot to destroy the world, because without Tasha and her solutions for global warming, everything would go underwater and all of the polar bears would die.  So, I’d fight for a more in depth investigation to save Tasha and thus save the world.  Of course, my efforts would be futile because she’s just gone.  No one actually abducted her. Then, I would just be perpetually depressed and confused for the rest of my life because someone stole my great friend and future roommate and brought the end of the world upon humanity.

So, that’s a little depressing, but the moral of the story is that I love  Tasha and I do not want her to disappear.  So, universe, if you were planning to take Tasha away, do not do it.  We really need her as a world saver, but (maybe more importantly), I need her as my friend.

I am proud to be a New Yorker, but more importantly, an American. I commend the efforts of President Obama and our brave military and thank God that no Americans were hurt or killed in these efforts.

“Soul Meets Body” by Death Cab for Cutie

I feel trapped and I’m craving something much more from my life.  I’m just…content. There’s something missing.

What do you think it means to be in love?

Love is soul consuming, not body consuming.  When you’re in love, you’re willing to divulge the most intimate parts of your soul and have a intent interest in learning about the person you love.  With love, there is growth; you grow together in mind and spirit.  Before love, each person grows as an individual.  Like a tree, they establish their core roots that feed their life decisions and outlooks.  In love, the roots of the individuals feed off of one another, become entangled and create something completely new. To be in love, you must be eternally committed to growth and maturation of this new entity.

We’ve not been able to escape these two for weeks now, but I really think that they are so great together and I hope that they have a lifetime of happiness with one another.
