Think of the last person you hugged. What would you do if they vanished completely?
Honestly, I can’t remember. I think maybe Tasha. So we’ll talk about Tasha. If Tasha vanished completely I would at first be a little confused, but then ration that she’s probably at Bio review or perhaps if it’s later at night, she’s locked herself in her room to finish writing her history paper. After about 24 hours without seeing her, I’d start panicking and crying thinking that she’s missing. I’d search for her, and call the police. They’d never find her though (cause she completely vanished) so I would spend the rest of my life wondering why anyone would abduct Tasha. She’s far to sweet to be abducted. Plus, the world needs her. She has the solution for climate change! So, then I’d be angry because someone essentially stole the answers to all of our problems. Then I’d get to thinking that her abduction was actually a plot to destroy the world, because without Tasha and her solutions for global warming, everything would go underwater and all of the polar bears would die. So, I’d fight for a more in depth investigation to save Tasha and thus save the world. Of course, my efforts would be futile because she’s just gone. No one actually abducted her. Then, I would just be perpetually depressed and confused for the rest of my life because someone stole my great friend and future roommate and brought the end of the world upon humanity.
So, that’s a little depressing, but the moral of the story is that I love Tasha and I do not want her to disappear. So, universe, if you were planning to take Tasha away, do not do it. We really need her as a world saver, but (maybe more importantly), I need her as my friend.
